Shipping & Delivery

All VEGHEAD orders are baked and then snap frozen onsite to lock in freshness. We deliver orders frozen — exactly how they leave our bakery.

We ship once a week on Wednesdays using specialised frozen couriers services. Because we’re a tiny team working with premium frozen logistics, our delivery costs are higher than standard parcels. To keep things fair, we offer two shipping structures: promotional rates (during special campaigns) and our standard shipping threshold.

To protect your order and ensure it arrives safely:

• All shipping cartons are insulated and contain an icepack to keep your delivery cool. 

• If your order arrives partially or fully thawed, don’t stress: simply refrigerate and enjoy within 7-10 days. 

Sometimes extremely hot weather can get past our best laid plans. If your order is warm or room temperature by the time you open your box- its still perfectly safe to eat if you refrigerate immediately and then consume within 3 days. Please reach out to our team if this isn't suitable for your family and we will arrange a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances. Any refund full or partial is subject to our refund policy.

🔔 Promotional Shipping Thresholds

During limited-time promotions, we reduce the free-shipping threshold from $100 -> $60 to help families stock up.

To qualify for free shipping during a promo:

• Your order must be $60 or more (Tax incl)

• Your delivery address must be within 25 km of the Adelaide CBD

If an order is placed outside the 25 km zone, our team will contact you with two options:

1. A small freight surcharge, or

2. A full refund if delivery or surcharge isn’t suitable for your area

📦 Standard Shipping (Outside Promo Periods)

To qualify for free shipping at any other time:

• Your order must be $100 or more

• Your delivery address must be within 25 km of the Adelaide CBD

Orders under $100, or outside of the delivery zone, may require an additional delivery fee. We’ll always contact you first to confirm and offer you a refund should you want.

Why is shipping expensive?

Frozen delivery is a specialised process — insulated packaging, ice packs, and tight delivery windows — and we’re a small Adelaide brand doing our best to keep it affordable. As we grow, reducing shipping costs is one of our top priorities.

Storage & Eating Instructions

Storage

• Keep frozen for up to 3 months — if they last that long!

• Store in an airtight container to prevent freezer 'burn'.

• Once thawed, keep refrigerated and eat within 7 days.

How to Enjoy Your VEGHEAD Muffins

Lunchboxes (room temp)

• Pop a mini muffin straight from the freezer or fridge into the lunchbox.

• Thanks to its bite-sized shape, it will thaw naturally and be ready to eat by lunchtime — often sooner. All muffins are perfectly fine to eat at room temp for 24h.

At-home snacks warmed, our favorite method.

• Warm in the microwave for 5–10 seconds for a soft, warm, freshly-baked taste.

• Especially delicious with the Chocolate mini (trust us).
